Drupal Agency London

Drupal as a popular modern CMS has been a staple of web development at MintTwist for over half a decade now. While WordPress and other CMS’ have their popularity spikes, often there is a preference for, a requirement to use or an existing system already built with Drupal. We support older versions of Drupal, are preparing in advance for new upcoming versions and can help you decide which CMS or version is best for you.

Drupal succeeds at an enterprise level where other CMS’s can struggle because of the complexity and options regarding content authoring, user access and rights management which far exceeds that of other comparable CMS’s, making Drupal the ideal choice in situations that require a high level of control and management.

• Massive and strong online support community
• Promising new road-map with new versions coming soon
• Comprehensive enterprise level functionality
• Flexible and scalable via module utilisation

Drupal developers

We support and regularly deliver design and development projects using Drupal. MintTwist developers have experience supporting Drupal 6, 7 & 8 and are looking forward to creating using the newest version coming in 2020; Drupal 9. Like all CMS’s, Drupal gives some great advantages and creates development challenges in other areas. This is why it’s always important to chat to development experts and find out which CMS is best for you.

If we resolve that Drupal is the best choice, our team will work to design you a stunning bespoke website from scratch and use the latest version and web standards to ensure that we build on user journeys that deliver on your key objectives.

    The state of Drupal

Like most CMS’s, Drupal has versioning numbers that can be complex, but there are three main versions of Drupal to talk about. Drupal 6 and below are all now in end-of-life, which means while they can be supported by MintTwist, they no longer receive core updates from Drupal which means there could potentially be more security and support issues down the line.

Drupal 7 has been the most popular version of Drupal to date with a huge amount of sites happily sitting on that version. It is so popular that Drupal moved its end-of-life up to November 2021, which is the same end-of-life date as Drupal 8 (the other popular alternative to 7) has. Drupal 9 will be released in 2020, with version 8 to 9 being an easier, simpler upgrade than from 7 to 8 (or from 7 to 9).

We also lead in eCommerce development London, and provide a plethora of digital services that can help your business thrive.
